Next to skin softness, not a soft as my 8 ply sw merino base, this is a 19.5 micron merino that is constructed of 3 plies merino/nylon and 1 ply of Lurex... it's super sparkly... this yarn would be great for any occasion... baby items too!
Hand dyed by me (Twin Mommy) in my kitchen using professional acid dyes... I make sure that all dye is exhausted, then rinse the fiber once with mild soap and once with hot water just to make sure that there is no bleeding or residue remaining.
